UK boxed copies and region codes

A UK boxed copy contains a code that you redeem on your PlayStation or Xbox account. PlayStation treats the UK as its own region group, so a code bought in the UK should be redeemed on a UK account, and a code from elsewhere in Europe may not work on a UK account. Xbox codes are generally not region-locked. Boxed copies go on sale on 12 November 2026, so you can redeem and pre-load the same day.

With the expected rolling midnight launch, GTA 6 unlocks at 12:00 AM GMT on 19 November 2026, and pre-loading opens at 12:00 AM on 12 November 2026.
