Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc, open the Performance tab, and click each item: GPU shows your graphics card and "Dedicated GPU memory" (VRAM), Memory shows your RAM, CPU shows your processor and cores, and Disk shows whether each drive is an SSD or HDD.
Before you can tell whether your PC is ready for GTA 6, you need five numbers: graphics card, VRAM, processor, RAM and drive type. Windows shows all of them in Task Manager. Here is where to look, plus two backup methods.
Method 1: Task Manager (Windows 10 and 11)
- Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc. If you see a small window, click More details.
- Open the Performance tab (the graph icon on Windows 11).
- GPU: the name at the top right is your graphics card. "Dedicated GPU memory" is your VRAM. If you see GPU 0 and GPU 1, one is the built-in graphics and the other your gaming card. Laptop chips say "Laptop GPU".
- Memory: the total at the top right is your RAM. "Slots used" shows whether you have one or two sticks (two runs in faster dual-channel).
- CPU: the processor name is at the top right. "Cores" shows the core count.
- Disk: each drive shows SSD or HDD in its title. Install games on an SSD.

Method 2: DirectX Diagnostic Tool
Press Windows + R, type dxdiag and press Enter. The System tab shows your processor, RAM and Windows version. The Display tab shows the graphics card and its memory. It is handy for copying specs into a forum post.
Method 3: Settings
Open Settings, System, About for the processor, RAM and Windows edition. For storage, open Settings, System, Storage, then Advanced storage settings, Disks and volumes.

FAQ
How do I find my graphics card on Windows 11?
Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc, open Performance and click GPU. The card name appears at the top right.
What is the difference between dedicated and shared GPU memory?
Dedicated memory is the VRAM on your graphics card. Shared memory is system RAM the GPU can borrow, which is much slower. Games care about dedicated memory.
How do I know if my drive is an SSD?
In Task Manager's Performance tab, each disk shows SSD or HDD in its label.
