Sony is releasing two Grand Theft Auto VI Limited Edition DualSense controllers, one black and one white, on 19 November 2026 alongside the game. They cost $84.99, £74.99 or €84.99. Official
Pre-orders opened on 10 September. The black model is sold mainly through PlayStation Direct, while the white one is going to more retailers. Stock is limited. Reported
Sony first showed the controllers on the PlayStation Blog on 3 September 2026. They are cosmetic editions: both use Vice City styling, and underneath they are standard DualSense pads with the same haptic feedback, adaptive triggers and battery. They will not make GTA 6 play any differently.

Should you buy one for GTA 6?
Only if you want the look or need a second controller anyway. Every PS5 already includes a DualSense, and GTA 6 is a single-player game at launch, so most players will not need another pad. If you want a controller that actually changes how you play, the DualSense Edge adds back buttons and trigger stops. Our best controller for GTA 6 guide compares every official option on PS5 and Xbox.
